International TravelAfter the daily grind of work-home-sleep-eat, a well-deserved vacation is always in order. Of course, there’s nothing even better than going to an international destination. New sights to see, new food to taste and a new culture to discover makes for one exciting adventure.

To help you have the best vacation ever, here are the travel must-haves:

Passport and travel document

It’s every travellers’ nightmare — realising you forgot your passport right when you’re about to board your plane. To make sure you don’t forget your passport and travel documents (like your boarding pass), place them securely in the bag you will bring the night or even the day before. Place a little reminder on your phone or even a Post-it on your fridge to be on the safe side.

Change your money.

If you’re going to another country, it’s always a good idea to change at least some of your money to the currency of the country you’re visiting. At least change enough money that will cover a day’s worth of local travel and food to your intended destination. Keep in mind that some countries, like Japan, are more cash-based that card based. Do your research and check the exchange rate before visiting a money changer to make sure you get the best deal.

Comfy slip-on

Boots might make for a stylish travel style, but having a pair of comfortable slip-on stashed in your bag will definitely make your feet thank you for such foresight.  Not only are they less hassle to take on and off during the security check at the airport, they’ll also help you feel more comfortable when you squeeze in a cramped plane seat. Also, do keep in mind that in mid-air, feet starts swelling so you might want to put on a pair that can accommodate your feet.
